We will be happy to introduce you to our family Champagne. The history of Champagne Chauvet starts more than 150 years ago with the great-great-uncle of the current owners of the winery. At that time, our ancestor owned vineyards in Bouzy and Ay, and it is in 1848 that he decided to produce champagne and acquired the property of Croix Saint Jacques in Tours Sur Marne. His interest in this property is then motivated by the beautiful cellars dug in 1798, which the following generations have expanded over the years. Half a century later, he transferred his winery to his niece Aimee, the young wife of Auguste Chauvet.
